IT professional looking for a room

I'm Nicolas, 36, French, and recently moved over for work. I'm in IT, in the office four days a week and home one.
Pretty quiet and easy-going, in my free time I play a bit of badminton, enjoy park walks, or just chill at home (with the occasional beer at the local pub). I'm friendly with housemates but fairly independent, nevertheless I'm happy to share a meal or a chat now and then. I also greatly value quietness.

Being located close (< 10 min, ideally <= 5 min) to a Northern Line station is important for me.

One important thing: since I've only just landed in the UK, I don't have a rental history here yet. That said, I've got a UK employment contract and can share my Right to Rent code.

Ideally I'd move in around 15 May, looking at a 6-month stay to start with, though I can be flexible on the date.
