PhD student looking for short-term stay(June–Sept)
Hello everyone! 👋
I am a PhD student from Italy moving to Glasgow for a research period from early June 2026 until the end of September 2026. I’m looking for a comfortable and quiet place to stay during these 4 months.
📍 Areas I’m considering:
I am looking across the West End and nearby areas, specifically:
- Hillhead, Dowanhill & Hyndland
- Partick & Kelvinside
- Anniesland (very interested in this area!)
- Maryhill (preferably North Maryhill/Wyndford side)
- Finnieston & Kelvingrove
🏠 What I’m looking for:
-A bedroom in a shared flat OR a studio/self-contained flat.
- A bright and quiet environment (essential for my research and writing).
-Reliable Wi-Fi and fully furnished.

Budget: Flexible (£400-700 pcm) depending on the location and whether bills are included.
