Looking for a home in Clapham!

I am an Aussie / South African and just moved to London for work. I am a chemical engineer and will be working in the city, mostly from the office, with one or two days wfh.

I'm looking for a room, ideally close to transport links that I can call home! Mainly looking in Clapham, but open to the surrounds.

I've been living in sharehouses for the past 7 years, so am very used to living in shared spaces and am a very considerate housemate - good at keeping things tidy, and generally a pretty independent person, but also won't say no to a lil wine or coffee and chat ☺️

A typical week for me looks like work and gym, making dinner and then spending some downtime watching netflix and possible knitting 🧶.

A typical weekend entails hunting down the best coffee and pastry spot and exploring London, then catching up with friends for dinner and then getting ready for the week. I'm generally past my partying days, more interested in a few wines and a yap over dinner.
