Creative Kiwi (27) looking for a homely flat

Hey! I’m 27, originally from New Zealand, and moving to London in May (UK citizen). I’ll be based in Hackney to start, with temporary accommodation near Hackney Marshes for my first month while I find somewhere more permanent.

I’m a graphic designer by trade, but planning to pick up barista work when I arrive (I’m trained and have experience). Longer term, I’d love to get back into making theatre props once I’m a bit more settled.

I’m pretty creative, easygoing, and social — always up for a chat, coffee walks, or a few beers at the pub or at home. I love fashion, op shops, music/gigs, and anything a bit creative or slightly weird. Big fan of a good flat hang (dinners, drinks, the occasional night out), but I also really value my own space and downtime.

I’m looking for a friendly, relaxed home rather than just a place to crash — somewhere that feels comfortable, social, and respectful of everyone’s space. Would love to find a place that feels like a home :)
