PhD Student Seeking Room/Buddy Up

Hi, I’m Josef, I’m 22 and currently in the first year of my chemistry PhD at Heriot-Watt!

I’m currently living in halls but am eagerly keen to move out and look for somewhere more central in Edinburgh where there’s more to do, and where I have somewhere to wind down after a day in the lab and office that isn’t 10 minutes away from the building I work in!

As a flatmate, I’m clean, tidy, and generally easy to get on with. In my spare time I like to watch and play cricket (when I have time), go out for drinks and food, go on walks, and just socialise generally. I do also appreciate just having quieter nights in and relaxing reading or watching something on the TV. I’d be looking for someone who also likes socialising and who I could foster a warm and friendly living environment with!

Now down to the nitty gritty…

I would be interested in sharing with students only for council tax reasons

I’m pretty flexible with my availability, I’ve said 1st June but that can realistically be later and I’d be happy to chat more about this

The place would need to have somewhat accessible transport links to Heriot-Watt. As in ideally a bus stop ~ 10 mins or so away with a bus that goes direct to the uni
