Seeking double room in Forres, Elgin or Nairn

Hi,

My name's Phil, I'm looking to lodge in a quiet home in or around Findhorn/Forres, Nairn or Elgin from 01 October 2023.

I'm looking for a double room, ideally with some storage space.

A few things which are important to me in finding a new home:

1) I have a mountain bike so some sort of secure storage would be ideal..
2) I'm in need of a furnished room, with a good - ideally firm (newish) mattress.
3) Ideally a stand-up shower that produces hot water and good power (I'm not really into baths!).
4) Reasonable space in the fridge and freezer / kitchen cupboard for food.
5) Clean housemate(s) - I'm pretty clean and tidy and prefer not living in mess, especially in shared spaces.
6) Privacy is also important to me - I respect that of others and ask for it in return.

About me:

I work full time in Forres running a charity & am looking for short term lodgings until I can find another suitable rental property - my former landlady served me notice in order to sell her property.

I'm a fairly quiet housemate and tend to enjoy my own space, I'm originally from Australia but have lived in the UK for over twenty years. I'm independent, level headed, relaxed, with great respect for others, their privacy and living arrangements, and appreciate the same in return.

I am not sure for how long I would be lodging for, however, it would most likely be between 2-6 months (subject to finding a suitable rental property).

I currently live near Rafford & ideally looking for lodgings in the local Forres, Elgin & Nairn areas.

I hope that gives a bit of an idea of me and what I'm after but do let me know if you have any questions.
