Looking for double room in friendly house share

Hi!
I’m on the lookout for double room in a new house share and wanted to give a little intro to who I am and the kind of home I’m hoping to find.

I’ve lived in London for many years — first a decade in East London, now in NW. I’m looking for a new home to be closer to work as I am now full time in the same company and our landlord is exploring selling the house end of 2026, so it feels like the right moment to discover a new neighbourhood and a new home dynamic.

I’m an embroiderer working in a hand-made tapestry studio, I also work occasionally in a contemporary dance theatre — so my life tends to orbit around art, craft, and creativity. In my downtime, I still love to explore London, even after spending more than a decade wandering its streets.

I’m friendly, sociable, and also very used to giving people their space. I love a home where everyone has their own lives but there’s still a sense of connection. I’m tidy and respectful (not remotely OCD though), and I really value communal areas that feel looked after and pleasant to be in.

I am hoping to find a relaxed, considerate, friendly house with people who care about the space and each other. Nothing intense — just a warm, comfortable atmosphere.
