Looking for a room in the city centre.

Hi. My name is Shane, I'm 36 and I'm looking for a room in central Manchester/Salford around August. I currently live in Leeds but I'm moving back to Manchester in the next few months. I'm looking for places around August.

I'm a teacher currently, but I'm applying other jobs in Manchester for September. Hoping to find something hybrid so might work from home a couple of days a week.

I enjoy keeping fit - I go the gym regularly. I’m pretty sociable and enjoy the odd drink t but I’m certainly not out every night! I do all sorts in my spare time really: reading, TV (Drag Race, Gogglebox, Veep, Game of Thrones, documentaries, most stuff), cinema, food, music, podcasts, travel.

I’m pretty flexible as to which part of the city centre I live in, but I like Ancoats/New Islington a lot. Ideally there would be parking but it's not essential. Ideally the property will be fairly modern, with nice fixtures and fittings but I'm not massively bothered about that, the person I live with is more important.

I'm looking for someone fairly tidy, laid-back and up for chilling and watching tv together in the evenings. I’d really like a friend as much as a flat mate - it’d be great to share the odd meal and a few drinks now and then. I’m not a party animal but do enjoy an occasional night out so it would be great if you were into that too.

I’m open to rooms or buddy ups and looking to go up to £950 inc, bills.
