Professional Gay Male for room/buddy-up

Hey all,

I'm Mark, 33, American originally (but with an EU passport) and been in London for 3.5 years now.

I work for The Economist but on the research end (those numbers in the back before the Obituary, if you're familiar with the magazine), specifically focusing on Latin America. I'm very familiar with the region and have in-depth knowledge of London's Latin scene if that's something you're into.

Currently looking to relocate from my current flat. As a flatmate I'm very friendly and polite and enjoy catching up with my flatmates, but I should warn you in advance I am not around that much. Work keeps me busy, from October-June I study part-time, and I spend a few nights a week at my boyfriend's as well. Add in seeing friends when I can, and it's not that I'm against being social, it's just that I don't spend a lot of time at home!

I also love to travel, and try to get away every 6 weeks or so even if just for a city break. I tend to have two trips at a time planned in the pipeline and it's a passion of mine.

As for rooms/area: I am open-ish on areas, but I work in Canary Wharf and I'd like to keep my commute at 45 minutes or less.

My experience in flatsharing has taught me for the harmony of the house it's usually best to have a cleaner for common areas, so I'd like that. I also am tidy and need to live with others who are the same (for example, no leaving pots and pans dirty in the sink for days or letting the rubbish bin overflow). I also can't at 33 share the bathroom with more than 2 other people (I'm sorry, I'm getting old).

My max budget is around ?1150 including all bills, but you know, obviously I wouldn't mind spending less.

Words I especially like but are not absolute necessities are: en-suite, tumble dryer, and dishwasher.
