Urgently Need A Room

Hi I had to leave my last room due to landlord selling the house so was issued with a notice to vacate. I am now living in a nightsheltet which is far from ideal. I am on benefits at the moment due to a operation I had a few months ago. I was hoping I would be able to go back to work in January but due to a few complications I have been informed that it will now be nearer to June before they will consider me being able to go back to work. I am looking for a room in the above areas which will take housing benefit for at least 6 months it will need to be a double as will have my girlfriend coming to stay once a week minimum. I can pay a small deposit up front and pay extra each time I pay the rent to cover the rest of deposit etc. I just want to be able to move out of this night shelter and get a place of my own so I can get over my operation and be able to go back to work when I am given the all clear. I don't mind doing odd jobs around the house if that helps me secure accommodation. Any landlord who can help me and has got a room which is suitable pls don't hesitate to contact me. Pls remember I am not a student, I am on housing benefit my budget is 350 per month but can stretch to 400 if right room location becomes available.
