Mature PhD student looking for relaxed household.
Hi!
I'm looking for a place to live where I can work, sleep, eat and grow vegetables. I would expect to be working in the house around full time but it depends on the location (if there are good alternative work spaces around) and the time of year. I would need a desk in a quiet peaceful part of the house, with nature close by. I am also looking to get a cat or two or live somewhere with animals who are free to interact with me.
I'm doing a PhD at the University of Southampton looking at the impacts of land use change and biomass crops on biodiversity and the environment. I am doing some other environment-related projects too that complement the PhD.
I enjoy playing music as well as writing, reading and dancing. Somewhere with a piano would be ideal. I eat vegetarian and usually vegan food. I do yoga, run and hike. My main focus is the environment in whatever I do.
I'm a considerate and tidy housemate and enjoy living in a well looked after place where I can relax as well as work and where I feel at home.
If you are interested in taking me in, I look forward to hearing from you! =) =) =)
