Looking for a single or double room

Hello,

I will be working in the Kent and Canterbury Hospital (no start date yet) for the NHS. I am looking to rent in the Canterbury area within easy access of the station and the hospital.

I do not drive so am looking for a place that is very near to a bus stop or train station.

I am currently paying £575 monthly for a small double including all bills and would like to find somewhere similar priced or less depending on the size of the room.

Looking for a double room if possible with single bed, with a new mattress.

Looking for a nice house with garden so I can hang washing out and sit out in the garden and relax. Plenty of storage space in the kitchen & freezer.

Looking for respectful housemates, I'm not bothered by ages as long as we respect each other and all get along. I have been sharing with people of all ages, from student physios in their 20s to nurses in their 30s and all nationalities.

Looking for a non smoking household if poss.

A washing machine is a must as is the internet.

Looking for a nice area.

I am a clean, tidy, mature, responsible, professional female.

I live very quietly but can be sociable to.

Hobbies are:

Researching my family history
Jewellery making
Sewing
Reading
Football(ish)
And have just started to go to the gym

Ideally I am looking for somewhere long term.

Happy to consider other areas if the price/location is right.

Alternatively I am happy to be in a household with an older person who requires help around the house and some company.
