LBGT+ PhD student

Hi there, potential house/flatmate!

I'm a 35 y/o non-binary PhD student looking for a single or double room in Newcastle, with enough space for a desk and a yoga mat - I'd prefer a furnished place with a bed at least and any kind of built-in storage as I'm not planning on bringing furniture with me. It would also be great if there was a garden or balcony, as I will be bringing my astronomical telescope and would love to have a place to set it up for regular stargazing.

I'm explicitly interested in an LGBT+ friendly household comfortable with a transmasculine individual as myself. I'm a nerdy queer punk with a wide variety of interests, including roleplaying, LARP, movies, games, comics, fitness, cooking and astronomy.

I'm pretty sensitive to noise so you should not expect me to be causing a racket, and though I usually tend to stay up late I appreciate a quiet house in the evening. I may want to bring romantic partners home on occasion, so let me know if you have any rules about this! (eg. no men, tell you first, ect)

I'm an ovo-pescatarian (vegan except for fish and eggs), but I'm fine with other people eating whatever they want. I'm allergic to cats and avocados, so no kitties (sorry) and keeping food-prep areas clean is very important.
