Female looking for room

Hi,

Looking for a place where people put attention and care into their living space and are creative about it, maintaining a beautiful environment you can enjoy spending time in.

I think a shared house needs a good balance between being able to spend your days alone in your thoughts and sitting on your housemates bedroom floor, chatting about anything and everything. I am happy with either vibe as long as there is open straightforward communication about any life admin.

I am looking for a place where I can put an effort into creating the environment that is pleasant to gaze upon- where the shapes, textures and colours bring me joy as I am drinking my cup of good coffee with some hard cheese and a kobo book .. or a questionable youtube drama video - because I am here for it.


I am clean and tidy (of course, it’s okay for a place to be lived in day to day, as long as it is cared for in a way that dirt does not accumulate). Consistency over perfection and all that.

I want a home to be a place to restore and slow down. London life is busy and a home should always be a small sanctuary.

I keep many Asian sauces in my fridge, really like folding laundry and I think it is very heart-breaking how many places no longer have bathtubs these days.

Looking to rent long term - but ideally looking to first sign a shorter e. g. 3 months or similar contract (always good to keep an option/trial period, in a hopefully unlikely case where it just does not work for someone). People who are willing to commit to living with a stranger for 12 months after meeting them once/twice - please explain yourselves, that’s very brave.

Live in Landlords only (I find it just ensures the place is cared for and they care about other tenants they select).
