Looking to buddy up & find our dream home

Hello!

I'm Sarah, queer creative cat mom and PhD student/researcher in sexual health at UCL. I go into the office 2 days per week, and love to cook, be active, spend time with friends exploring London and its culture but also stay home to knit, cuddle my cat (Raven) and brew some herbal remedies. Originally from Paris, but have been in London for 10 years, grew up in the US & Canada + did my masters in Stockholm. I also speak French and Swedish! I'm looking to buddy up with 1 person and look together for a gorgeous & peaceful home.

About you: a chill and down to earth person, who is independent and enjoys their own time but is down for (high) movie nights and morning yoga. Obviously needs to be queer friendly (inclusive of trans, nb and the whole 🌈), and a leftie/socialist who is ideally rather eco-conscious. I'm quite organised and clean, so I would need someone who is able to match that!

For our dream house, I'd preferably want somewhere in North/East London, ideally near Manor House. My musts are a private garden, a living room and a cat flap (no more getting up in the middle of the night to let the cat out!). I'm flexible with the price but I'd rather not pay more than £1,000 pcm. I'm looking to create a cosy space filled with incense, classic fm, good food, laughter and peace. Sometimes with friends over for cute dinners, games nights or weekend stays. In the garden I'm envisioning fairy lights, cute spots to hang out, a vegetable garden and a compost (I am happy to lead the charge on the gardening, as long as you're happy to help out from time to time). My current tenancy ends at the end of May, so ideally looking to start the new tenancy then but my current landlord is chill/adaptable.
