Emily - Senior Cyber Operations Analyst

We are 2 professionals looking for a property in and around Lambeth. We currently live in Clapham, and have lots of connections in the area, so looking to remain within or near to the borough of Lambeth. Our budget is between £1,400 to £1,700 pcm, not necessarily including bills.

We've known each other for a long time and are looking for 2 double rooms. We’re both non-smokers, quiet, and responsible. We don’t have pets (but we do have a few plants!)

We’re both employed full time and can provide confirmation letters from our employers if you would like. Emily is a senior operations analyst in cybersecurity and Niamh is a journalist. Niamh is on-site in central London for work so out much of the time, but Emily works from home 3 days a week. When not at home she is based in London Bridge. We work hard, and are really looking for a flat where we can create a cozy and quiet place to relax after a hard day of work.

Neither of us are party animals, and we intend to take good care of any property. We know how to clean and keep properties well maintained. We’re always communicative with our landlord and will keep you informed of any issues within the flat.

Aside from 2 double bedrooms, we’d like a communal living room where we could put a TV, as we love to do movie marathons, and Emily is a keen baker so a good kitchen with adequate storage for all her utensils would be perfect. An ideal would be a smallish outdoor area to put our plants and maybe sit outside in the good weather. We don’t need separate bathrooms/ensuites etc.

We’re moving because our current landlord has decided to put the property we live in on the market. We have a 2 month notice period and would be looking to move in May. The property is managed by Foxtons, and they will provide a reference for both of us confirming we are reliable with rent payments and have maintained our current property to a high standard. We’re also happy to go through background checks for agencies etc.
