Hi!

I’m Gillian and I currently rent a spacious traditional flat in the West End. The flat is self contained, comes with a garden, and on street parking is available. There are bus stops nearby, and easy commuter access to the north, south and west of the city with Anderson Drive just a stones throw away. While the road is quite busy during peak times, the flat is quiet, and there isn’t much noise in the evenings. There are several coffee shops and pubs within walking distance, and the city centre is a 10 minute bus ride / 30 minute walk away.

The available bedroom is very large, contains a king sized bed and a four door wardrobe. There is a lot of storage space in the property which you’ll be welcome to use.

The bedroom doesn’t have an ensuite as such, but the main bathroom is right next door and will be exclusively yours, as my room has an ensuite. The bathroom has an electric shower, and a very large bathtub.

About me - I am a professional almost-30 year old and work Monday - Friday. I’m an Aberdonian so know the city pretty well. I spend quite a lot of time at home, and I love to host friends / family for dinner or drinks etc., but it’s not a weekly thing, only every once in a while. I like socialising, travelling, food, occasional gym use... my family have dogs so I like to take them walking and occasionally they stay for a weekend, but if you’re not a dog person then no problem, they won’t stay here. I keep the flat very clean and tidy... it was unfurnished when I took on the lease, so all of the furniture is relatively new. I’d like a flat mate who will look after the place like its their own, as I do. That’s not to say I’ll be following you around with a dustpan and brush and freaking out about crumbs... I’d just really like the sofa to remain red-wine stain free :)

I’m very laid back and tolerant of other people’s lifestyles, and am equally happy hanging out on my own as I am with others. I’m hoping for a flat mate who will become a friend.
