Room in quiet area of Bath

Bedroom (bed can be extended in to queen size bed if preferable)

Furnished bedroom available from July in lovely light and airy flat on the river. The room is a double size, currently with two single beds which extend to a queen size bed (not shown in photos but I can send new ones if requested). Reliably informed by current housemate that it is bigger than it looks! My photography skills are just not great...There is a build in wardrobe with additional shelf space. If you don’t require the beds they can be removed.

The flat consists of an open plan sitting room/kitchen with small balcony and views of the shared garden and orchard, leading down to the River Avon, which flows along the bottom of the garden. Always quiet and great for an unwind after work. There is a shared bathroom with a shower over the bath and ample bathroom storage. The flat has central heating.

Kitchen contains gas hobs, fan oven and grill, fridge/freezer, double sink and all white goods (including washing machine). Rent is £425/month to exclude bills (typically around £95/month on top of rent). The kitchen is fully equipped so you do not need to supply your own kitchen equipment (crockery, cutlery, pans etc) if this is preferable.

The room is also available for a Mon-Fri let only if this is preferable. The price will be adjusted accordingly.

The flat is 20 minute walk in to city centre, private shared garden, 5 minute walk easy access to the Canal, private (free) residents parking. Easy access to Bath, M4, Chippenham, Corsham, Bristol. It is a 25 minute walk to the train station and there is a bus stop at the end of the road which takes you in to the city centre.

I am a 27 year old professional originally from Cornwall and am clean, quiet and tidy. I work in arts management and am also a classically trained singer (I practice at work so do not sing in the flat). I currently work from home 4 days a week and will co to use to work from home 2 days a week once restrictions lift fully. I have lived in Bath for nearly 8 years. I enjoy baking and being outdoors. I am often out and about a couple of evenings a week at rehearsals or various work commitments. I am happy to socialise or not depending on what you would prefer.

Please note, I do not own the flat. I rent from an estate agent so you would become a joint tenant and sign a contract with the estate agent. The agents are great - very efficient, quick to respond and resolve issues.
