Hey there, we’re Kish & Milly.

Kish bought the house a couple years ago and Milly moved in the latter end of 2023.

We are looking for a kind and respectful lodger for this sleek, high-end, fully-furnished double room. The room itself includes an electric sit/stand desk, an adjustable wall-mounted 50” smart TV, double wardrobe (with two drawers, multiple shelves and sufficient hanging space), a large double bed, a mirror, black out curtains and shelving / storage throughout the room.
The house is opposite to Parsons Bakery, a short walking distance from Redpoint Climbing centre and a local gym called Trojan Fitness. It is an approx. 15 min walk away from the hustle and bustle of North St, 15-20 min cycle to the city centre and 10-15 min drive to the airport. There are lots of green parks nearby - Greville Smyth, Ashton Court and Leigh Woods. If you want some greenery on our doorstep there’s a nice little running / dog-walking path and gardens about 5 mins walk away. Also, good location for catching the bus / train with Parson St station approx. 10 min walk away.

It has large gardens (for the BS3 area) and we’ve recently planted some fruit trees (fig, pear, plum, apples, cherry, nectarine, quince and crab apple - all fruiting this year!) and built some raised beds for growing veg - so someone with green fingers is a bonus (no worries if not!)

Street parking is always available with the added benefit of off road secure gated car parking to the back (secure parking will be an additional cost)

The room is available immediately.

There is a spacious double living room, a kitchen / diner (you will have your own fridge/freezer), a downstairs loo and a bathroom upstairs with a power shower.

The house has high speed internet (with 3 boosters), a Smart TV in the living room, a dishwasher, washing machine, juicer, nutri and hand blenders, rice cooker, air fryer, oven /grill, washing machine and even a barista coffee machine.

Also the house is detached so great for summer garden get-togethers and a large secure shed for bike storage at the back.

We’re often in the gym, cooking (often asian food - we love Japanese / Korean / Thai and Chinese), cycling, travelling, going to events / live music / festivals.

Amelia (Milly) is a professional singer and Kishan (Kish) is a financial consultant and both often work from home (Kish has an office and Milly has a recording Studio)

We are big on separating our recyclables and try to practice the 5 R’s as best we can.

Travel is Kish’s biggest passion. He’s travelled to approx. 50 countries and takes pride in understanding the culture, food, language and customs.

Milly is a classically trained singer and has appeared on multiple Anime’s / video games and sings as a Soprano soloist for a prominent choir in Bristol.

We’d really like it if you treated the place as your home as opposed to a rental room / house.

For couples the monthly room rate will be higher*

For a Mon-Fri lodger, the room rate will be lower**
