Large attic room in family home - Bishopworth

The bedroom

We are looking for a lodger to take on our attic room in our family home in Withywood, Bishopsworth.

The room is furnished but we have an outer house where you can store some of your stuff if you need to.

It's a nice big room with everything you would need. A desk with good Wi-Fi, Nice comfy bed. TV. I have even put a little kitchenette area with a kettle, microwave and new fridge to keep some of your bits in. You are obviously welcome to cook and stuff down in the family kitchen with us but I thought it might be nice for you to have your own tea making facilities upstairs and a separate fridge.

In the house are myself and my partner Dotty with our two children who are three and one. We are friendly and welcoming and generally a good laugh I think. I'm a Firefighter in Avon and my partner Dotty is just about to go back to work in Medical Sales after Maternity. Obviously we have young kids so it can be a bit hectic but there would be a no child policy in the attic so you could go there and relax. This would suit somebody who has just moved to Bristol perhaps and needs a short term furnished place or is studying. If the let turned into something a little longer term than we could negotiate a reduction in rent and I would consider a reduction if you only where only here mon-fri.

The house is 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Large living room and a kitchen diner. There are two enclosed parking spaces on our the front. You are welcome to one of these if you have a car.

We like to have some fun and a few drinks occasionally but obviously it's a family home so we are pretty chilled and it's not exactly party central around here!

We can be flexible with how long you want to stay. We were thinking perhaps doing a short-term let, but if it works out well and you're nice then you can stay for longer.

We are basically just looking for someone who's really nice, quite relaxed and pleasant to be around. Interesting person with good conversation. Doesn't have to be really chatty though it you like to just do your own thing. Obviously we will try and make sure you are not getting harassed by the kids but this probably isn't the house for you if you flat out don't like children!! We are not accepting couples but would potentially consider one adult and a child as we have space for a cot and are pretty well set up for kids stuff.

We like spending time with friends, heading to softplays, eating out, listening to music, gardening.
