Hi! We're Niky, Isabel and Sam and we're looking for a male housemate to join our lovely home!
The house:
The house is comprised of three floors. The room is on the second floor, as is Niky’s room, and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have loos, sinks and showers however, one is larger and also has a bath. These two bathrooms are shared between three people as Isabel has his own upstairs (on the third floor).
The ground floor has a lovely kitchen (equipped with two fridges and a freezer, a washing machine, dryer and dish washer), a dining room and a good-sized living room.
There is on street parking. Sometimes it's hard to find a space on our street but there are a few in the surroundings streets.
The location:
We are located in Ashley Down. You’re able to get buses straight into town, or walk for about 45 minutes if you prefer. Nearby is a Co-Op , a Lidl and an Aldi and we are a 10-minute walk from Gloucester Road. Of course, Gloucester Road is also full of awesome independent shops and food and drink establishments (when life permits us to do things again)! We are very close to St Andrew’s park, Purdown, the Mound and St Werburgh’s too. Our street is residential and thus quiet, which is awesome because we’re not too far from where the ‘action’ is, so to speak, but are also able to get a good night’s sleep!
The room:
The room is bright double room with a view of the garden. It is furnished with a bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
It is £380 plus the £100 for all the bills, coming to £480 a month. This includes heating, water, electricity, council tax, broadband and TV license, as well as a communal areas fortnightly cleaner.
Deposit is 1.5 months rent.
About us:
We are three professionals (two female and one male).
Niky works in the charity sector, 9-5, and Sam works as a tour manager. This means he is often abroad on assignments or at home during the day researching locations for his upcoming trips. Sam is currently away. Isabel works in a bar in town.
It is really important to us that whoever joins our lovely home is also a professional. It is definitely not a party house, and bedtime silence is imperative. We usually wind down and go to bed around 22.30 - 23.30. Sadly, as such, the preference is for regular working hours as opposed to shift work. We are also very open and honest and prefer to discuss things in the house without any negativity - it's worked out really well in the past so we are really keen on people who are hoping to live in a harmonious and friendly household. It's a home for us - not just a house share :).
We like hanging out together sometimes, but are respectful of one another's own time as well. We may go to the pub for a drink or watch a movie in the living room etc.
We also like our house to be kept clean. The kitchen isn't that small but when things are left for a while, it's quite apparent so we would love someone who is clean and tidy!
If you’re interested, drop me a message telling us a little about yourself.
Not sure how viewings work atm but we'd be happy to have you round, if you are, so long as we socially distance and wear masks etc.
