Large Sunny Double Room in Greenbank Home

Looking for a lovely soul (preferably female) to join my home. The room is available from the beginning of April but dates are flexible as we want to find the right fit. The room is a very large sunny double, bright, airy, peaceful and south facing onto the garden below. The room comes semi furnished with a double bed, wardobe, chair and bedside table. The room is £560 including all bills, fast broadband, tv licence, we also have a weekly cleaner which comes to an additional £8 a week.

The home: It's a large spacious Victorian terrace in leafy Greenbank (Easton), really close to amenities such as the Greenbank pub, Matter Wholefoods, Este Kitchen, St Marks road with Sweetmart and cafes, Stapleton Road and the cemetery which is a lovely green space for walks. The house is about 2 minutes from the Bristol to Bath cycle path, where you can cycle to the centre in 10 minutes, or out into the countryside to bath. The house has two bathrooms, living room, and large open plan kitchen/ diner- there is a large south facing garden where I grow a variety of veggies, flowers and herbs, gorgeous for those summer evenings, there's also a firepit in the winter. There are two young cats who roam free throughout the house

The vibe is friendly and calm, especially during covid as we are all working from home, so it's essential that during the day the house is peaceful and work friendly. The house has had a lot of love put into it (there's always more to do!) so looking for someone who will also treat the home with respect and love and who likes a tidy clean space. We want to maintain a happy, healthy and supportive space in the house; these times can be challenging and the home should be a sanctuary.

About us: You would be living with myself and the lovely Jade both almost 30 and looking for someone of a similar age. It's a relaxed and friendly household, and although it's not a party house, we enjoy having the occasional kitchen dance and friends over for meals and/or drinks (Covid permitting). We both work full time during the week so weekdays tend to be relatively relaxed, and on the weekends (at the moment) we enjoy going on walks, cycling, gardening and seeing friends where we can. We are making lockdown as fun as we can with shared meals, drinks, catch ups over cups of tea, movie nights, yoga and exercise classes. Our shared interests include yoga, cooking, gardening, cycling, reading, herbs, foraging, wild swimming, running, dancing, sustainability and just generally enjoying being out in nature.

About you: Ideally we're looking for a young professional female who is tidy, respectful and happy to do their bit to keep the house a lovely space. Someone who is friendly and an open communicator with a generally positive attitude, and happy to put the world to rights over a cup of tea or bottle of wine. Ideally someone who is happy to join with fun lockdown activities, but also recognises the need for space and alone time. essentially someone who is also keen to keep spirits high during these times. Re covid: this wouldn't suit someone who needs to isolate or shield for health reasons.
