Double room + en-suite for couple in communal home

Howdy there! We are hoping to find a couple to join our home in mid June (ideally 15th but can be negotiated). You will be living with Gabes, Olly, Christine and Otti dog. Gabes and Olly have been living here for 2.5 years, and we all care deeply about having a house which is a home :).

About the room and house

Rent is £730pm + bills (around £80pm each pm), for a good sized bedroom with en suite (shower and toilet). The house is awesome, and even for a new build we’ve added character and charm! It’s on a quiet side street, it's warm, clean, fully detatched, well insulated and has none of the mould, drafts and slugs that renters usually have to contend with. Other features (in no particular order) include a bath, four toilets (mad right?!), dishwasher, garden, large garage for storage and bikes, plenty of free parking space, separate lounge and dining area. It's a proper house basically.

About the location

It's in a great location, with Fishponds High Street and Bristol-Bath cycle path a few minutes away, and the absolute gem that is Oldbury Court Estate/Snuff Mills on our doorstep. You'll find lovely walks in the Frome Valley area, and you'll have easy access to the centre on your bike.

About how we live

We live communally. What does this mean? Food is bought together (mainly sustainably, inc veg box) and shared, cooking & cleaning rotas work brilliantly, and healthy house check-ins keep the cogs whirring nicely.

We have busy lives so we're not in each others pockets but we very much enjoy hanging out and sharing meals, projector snuggles or pub trips when together. Otherwise, we like cycling, singing, gardening, gigs, houseplants, Wales, the odd big night out and each other. We've been known to throw the occasional house party but are definitely not a bring the party back home kind of house. We like our space to be clean, calm and relaxing so we hope you share on those values too :)

About us

Olly is a trainee psychotherapist. He loves singing (particularly folk music), storytelling, salsa and sauna. Also a wide range of other things not beginning with S. Gabes is a jeweller and Otti dog's person. She also enjoys singing (and howling with Otts), loves a crafting or DIY proj, baking sourdough and bit of a foodie, quite wholesome really. Christine works for a beekeeping charity but believes our work doesn’t define us. She loves an adventure, an open mic night and a good book.

The more info the better as we really want to find people who complement the vibe and values we are trying to live by.
