Good Sized Double Room In a Modern Furnished Home

Hi there!!

We are looking for someone to replace our housemate James who has now set sail to Barcelona and new adventures! This is a double bedroom in our 4 bed house, upstairs and facing the garden. It comes with a double bed frame and a wardrobe (desk and mattress for sale separately).

The newly-furnished semi-detached house is located in Horfield, close to the Horfield Sports Centre! We are steps away from a Co-op and buses direct to the city.

We have a cosy lounge, large sunlit kitchen opening to a dining area, one bathroom with shower and an additional toilet. There is a garden outside which gets plenty of sun in the summer, with a home-made barbecue. The house is furnished with double-glazed windows and central heating. Off-street parking is available just outside and there is also a bike shed in the garden.

The room is available immediately and the rent is currently £390 per month. We usually each chuck in another £80 to cover the bills (utilities, council tax and broadband). We might put in more depending on the season.

We have a private landlord but the lease contract is done through an agency. There is an additional one-off £60 for agency fees. The deposit is £450. You will also need a reference.

Perfect for a fellow professional around their mid 20s – 30s who is sociable, friendly and independent. Smokers are ok but not in the house.

You will be living with 3 awesome housemates, all in their mid 20’s-30’s.

Jenn and Seb are a couple. Seb is an aerospace engineer from France and Jenn is from Taiwan, currently freelancing as a translator from home. They enjoy simple city pleasures from getting a cup of coffee to checking out gigs around Bristol. They love the outdoors and are currently challenging themselves to get up early for morning runs. Seb is a great pie-maker and Jenn makes rice. =)

Sean is a local English lad working in the care sector. He loves guitar, biking and is fairly active outside of the house. If you’re looking for the best burgers and curries in town, he’s your man! He is very friendly and always up for good chats at the end of the day. =)
