Double Room 4 Creative Female/s - Short Term Let

I am looking for a short term lodger, for a maximum of 4-4.5 months, I am moving house in September. Hopefully week 1 or 2 of September, but nothing set in stone yet.

I am looking to move away from Bristol after the Summer, the move will take time to finalise, but I am positive I won’t be staying in Bristol. Although I said that last year tho! And I’m still here ;)

I am a seamstress, a yoga teacher and a web designer, my home is full of my work, I have also just qualified as a HGV driver, and so I will be doing some agency work, which will be early shifts. Start times can be silly o’clock. I am also away a lot, so the place will be like your own, while I am not here.

The room will be partly furnished, a bed with mattress, desk and chair, getting more furniture is no problem at all, but if you have your own all the better. I have a van to help with any moving/collecting of things if needed. I specify that you have your own mattress topper, every bed has been trashed by previous occupiers, so I want the topper to protect the mattress, please, thank you.

I am vegetarian, and vegan, depending on how I feel on the day, have a big garden with fire pit, patio area and driveway, welcome to use the driveway when Im not. I do smoke, but only tobacco is allowed to be smoked in the house.

If you like to garden then you are very welcome to plant food, I tried that again last year, not very successfully, as its a full time job!

I prefer to share with like minded creatives, my home is my sanctuary, but I do love to play loud music and socialise, but the summer months that is mostly done while I am away and at festivals ;)

I am very easy going, laid back, and base everything on trust. Do no harm is the Yoga Mantra and I practice Universal and Natural Law.

Time is of the essence, my summer is very busy. So please message me and arrange a meeting. References are essential please, once bitten twice shy. If you want to pay for the 4 months in one go, thats fine with me too.

Open to couples/friends, but females preferred please, the rent will be more if 2 of you.

Students are welcome. I welcome pets, but the garden is not secure, and there are loads of cats around here. Its like cat motorway outside my back door, as the walls are low and the cats walk to and from all day long.

Please, if you send me a message or show an interest, and I reply, please dont waste my time by not replying to me. Our lives are busy and hectic enough, without being kept waiting for messages, a simple “sorry Im not interested now” or “Ive found somewhere thank you” takes seconds to write.
