Large double room in a queer-friendly two bed, third floor flat in Old Market (no lift). Really convenient location for Temple Meads, walking into town or to Easton. Council tax, internet and TV license included. Other bills (electricity and water) split between us.
Me and my cat Bob moved to Bristol a year ago. I’m still getting to know the city, but am enjoying all the different cultural activities. I often go to Spike Island and the Watershed and have my eye out for a nice pottery class at the moment. I like cooking (I used to be a chef), reading and going to the countryside for walks. I'm leftwing and I research social justice issues, so probably won't get on that well with someone very conservative.
I am an anthropologist and I work at Exeter University. During term time, I go in around 2-3 times a week, but outside of term, I work from home a lot. My job can be demanding, so having a relaxing home to come back to is really important to me.
I’m looking for someone who wants to make this a home and is up for sharing a meal or watching a film every now and then. It’s definitely not a party flat, but I do like to have people round to dinner or to stay for the weekend sometimes. My cat Bob is only one and a half, so he’s a big presence. You will need to be a genuine cat lover rather than tolerator.
Available from 27th May, but move in date can be a bit flexible.
