I’m Emily, I currently let my 2 bedroom duplex and am looking to sublet the spare room. Please note there is a resident friendly cat at the property so cannot accept any further pets.
Location:
The flat is situated in a very secure courtyard just off North Street. Because it is set back from the road it’s extremely quiet for the location. There is a bus stop just outside, SO many restaurants, cafes and bars nearby and only a 10 minute walk to Wapping Wharf, a 25 minute walk to Temple Meads and a 20 minute walk to the Centre. There is also a lot of on street, unregulated parking on the roads behind the property. I always find a space within a 5 minute walk.
The house:
The property is a renovation of an old building that was completed in 2019. There is a large kitchen (with dishwasher)/diner/living room downstairs with french doors to the communal courtyard and a door to the private light well. There is also a downstairs WC where the washing machine is located.
Upstairs there are 2 double rooms both with en-suites. The room available has 2 windows and gets loads of light, it also has a Juliet balcony which is not overlooked. Also upstairs there is a study room for storing bulky items such as suitcases etc. this can also be used as a home office.
There is also ample secure bike storage.
About me:
Mid thirties, into baking/cooking, really enjoy running and other outdoor activities. I also travel a fair amount throughout the year. Like to have friends over for food and play boardgames every now and again. A TV sheep so will inevitably watch whatever is trending on Netflix. I work from home 4 days a week but don’t use the home office so that would be available for you to use.
Partying every weekend is long behind me!
Rent:
Rent is £850 a month (due on the 1st) with bills on top. Bills vary from month to month but will be maximum of £250, will be less in the summer and the council tax break months.
For couples the rent would be £1000 with bills split 3 ways instead of 2.
