Furnished Double Room in Quiet, Clean House.

Double room with a friendly, live-in and experienced landlord homeowner and partner. Ideal location for walking into the city and for local shops and amenities.

NB: This room would normally be a long-term offer but the house is currently on the market. This will take many months or even a year or more to actually happen but please assume six months as a likely time frame.

We can consider a Mon-Fri arrangement for less money if you'd like.

We keep the place tidy and well organized. The garden is a lovely, serene spot and the house itself is quiet almost all of the time (a few cars running past the front during rush hours).

We don't drink or smoke and this is not a party house but we're not puritanical or anything weird like that! We foster Guide Dogs and may therefore have a dog for a few months each year, on and off.

You will have use of the whole house (including some storage space) except the front room & TV but there's plenty of chilling space - you'll see.
The broadband is very good for streaming etc. There is a second sofa/sunroom which is lovely during the summer and handy for drying laundry during the winter.

You should be a (reasonably) tidy, professional - female preferred. Your age isn't that important nor is your nationality, race etc.

Some of the photos show the room with a previous lodger's stuff in (giving an idea of the good size) and some as it is now - empty.

We are rather kind, empathetic people by nature and a relaxed home environment is very important to us. Arrangements are flexible and interpersonal communication is vital (eg; cooking, visiting partners...) to mutually understand one another and agree things as we go along.
