A bright, fully furnished double room is available in a friendly home in Brislington for a short-term let of 1–8 months

The house is well connected, with several bus routes nearby (including X39, 522 and 1) bus stop near Arnos vale park just a 10-minute walk away, and Bristol Temple Meads reachable in around 30 minutes on foot.

I’m advertising the room on behalf of my mum, who owns the property. While she decides whether to sell the house or rent it long-term, we’re looking for a considerate and easy-going lodger to take over her bedroom for the next few months.

You’d be sharing the home with me — I’m 27 and work in hospitality, so my schedule varies between early starts and late finishes. There’s no expectation for you to have similar hours; we’re open to anyone who’s respectful and comfortable with a mixed routine.

I’m a creative, friendly person with interests in art, crafts, writing, going swimming and music. I’m often out during the day and evenings due to work/being in my studio, but when I’m home I enjoy cooking, relaxing and watching TV.

For full transparency, it’s important to mention that our neighbouring household has teenagers who can be very loud at times. Because of this, the rent is priced lower than similar rooms in the area. We’re ideally looking for someone who is comfortable living with occasional noise and happy to tune it out. This is something we can discuss in more detail should you wish to view the room.

This room would be ideal for a mature student, professional, or someone new to Bristol who’s looking for a welcoming base while they find more permanent accommodation.
