This room has come available as the previous tenant wanted their dog with them at university. It is a friendly house. The communal areas including kitchen and bathrooms are cleaned regularly. All the rooms have their own wall mounted TV.
There is a compulsory monthly charge for bills that goes to a business that sorts out all the utility bills and the cleaning of the communal areas. This charge is £95 per month. We are happy to pay this on behalf of any new tenant that takes over the room.
Any new tenant has to sign the lease with the landlord just to cover the remaining period of the tenancy, which is just over 5 months at the time of posting the ad.
It is a friendly house of UWE students. There is a bus stop outside the house and Lidl is a walk away. The house is also convenient for Southmead Hospital.
Council Tax band is Band C. If you are a student there is no council tax to pay. If you are the only non student then you would need to pay but you would be eligible for a 25% discount from the council. The students are not included by the council when the number of adults is counted.
