Hello! My name is Dan and I'm looking for a flatmate for my peaceful Victorian flat.

I have a bright double room overlooking the garden available for £560.00

I’m a graphic artist who just moved back to Bristol after spending the last 8 years living in Mexico. I’m looking for someone to fill the other room and make this flat their home.

I’ve just bought the flat and have been turning it into a cosy home since last summer. It’s in a great location, on a lovely, quiet street, moments away from local shops, green spaces and direct 24hr buses to the city centre.

It’s a ground-floor garden flat on a quiet Victorian street in Kingswood, which has beautiful tall ceilings, original features, stained glass windows and plenty of light. The open plan living room/kitchen is a relaxed, art-filled space and a really nice place to start the day with a coffee.

The room available is a bright, good-sized, tall-ceiling double overlooking the garden. It's really peaceful and has plenty of space for a desk when working from home. It has a new double bed with memory foam mattress, floor-standing lamp, old skool iMac that still plays DVDs (!) and clothes rail, with additional items if required!

About myself, I’m a friendly, creative person who values a home that feels peaceful, well looked after and inspiring from filling the walls with work collected or made over the years. I tend to start my day early with some exercise before starting my work from home or at the studio. In the evenings, I like to relax with cooking and 6 music, reading or watching mubi. I’m looking for someone who is into calm home spaces, welcoming local cats in and having weekend pub hangouts. I love being social, but I also enjoy quiet times to recharge my social batteries. This flat would suit someone similar who likes to come back to a quiet space, share some meals but who also needs their own downtime and space as well.
