Double Room in Friendly, Social Home with Garden

Hi Folks,

Our lovely housemate Alex is moving on, so we’re looking for a friendly, easygoing person to join our welcoming three-bedroom home in Knowle.

The Room:

- Small double room – £475 per month
- Available from Saturday 14th March
- Furnished (flexible if you’d prefer to bring your own furniture)
- Quiet, cosy, and ideal for relaxing after a busy day
- Council tax band B.

The House:

We live in a spacious semi-detached house in a great location:

- 15-minute cycle to Temple Meads
- 10 minutes to North Street
- Free on-street parking plus a small driveway
- Large garage and plenty of storage space
- Beautiful, spacious garden with a quirky shed-bar area

Shared spaces include:

- Comfortable lounge
- Bright, sunny conservatory
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Upstairs bathroom and additional downstairs WC

Bills: usually around £100–£120 per month

The Vibe:

This is a sociable, relaxed home rather than just a house share. We enjoy a mix of our own space and spending time together; things like movie nights, shared dinners, or the occasional gathering with friends.

We’re tidy, respectful, and take pride in keeping the house a nice place to live, and we’re hoping to find someone similar who wants somewhere that genuinely feels like home.

About Us

I’m Christy, and I work in the humanitarian sector. I love climbing, being outdoors, and being a bit of a goof. I’m veggie and really value a calm, friendly home environment.

Sam is a Pilates instructor working Sunday to Thursday. We both work from home part of the week. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t work from home full-time, but flexibility isn’t a dealbreaker.
