Double room in Southville

We have a spare room and we are looking for a new female housemate for June 2024 (move-in date will be from the 5th June 2024).

The Room

The room is a comfortable, cosy mid-sized double room, on the ground floor with direct access to the garden. It does come furnished, as pictured, with a bed, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

The house has 2 bathrooms, one has a shower and the other has a bath/shower.

Flatmate sought:

To keep the balance, we are looking for a female housemate only.

Whilst we are always up for the occasional social drink and games night, this is most definitely not a party house and would not suit someone who regularly parties into the night or is up at all hours of the day.

Given that we are all a bit older, we definitely value having a clean and tidy house and would also want a housemate willing to get stuck into a house rota and isn’t shy of doing their fair share of the cleaning.

Basically, we’d like someone who will treat this house as a home and not just a room to store things in and sleep occasionally!

Rent and Bills

The rent is currently £500.00 a month, payable on the 4th of each month, with bills on top of this (they usually average out to around £110 per person per month - weather permitting!). There is no deposit payable.

Our landlord, Dan, is a private landlord and is absolutely lovely to deal with. He is always quick to respond to any issues and we generally have a great relationship with him (hence trusting us enough not to need a deposit!)

There is free on-street parking.

Current Housemates

Lucy - 32, finance administrator. Loves anything musical, singing, playing the piano and going to gigs. Enjoys painting, drawing, and hiking in her spare time. Likes a board game evening or a chilled drink at the pub.

Mahey - 34, freelance translator. Mahey, balances his translation business with a part-time office job. He is a self-described language nerd, chill and sociable. Likes learning new languages (emphasis on the language nerd), painting, board games and going out from time to time for the occasional drink.

Kelly - 26, freelance Camera Assistant. He’s a calm housemate and likes playing and making music, playing games, watching a movie or TV shows, and loves to cook. He tends to keep busy by going out, being with friends, going to gigs or getting out for a walk, I'm spontaneous with my days and activities. He also works part-time at a whisky bar.
