Comfortable Room in Southville

Looking for a place to enjoy summer in Bristol? This is for you!

We're looking for someone to fill a comfortable and cosy room in our lovely shared house in Southville for 3.5 months only whilst the current tenant is away. The room will be available from 27/04/25 to 09/08/25, and the current tenant will move back in after that period.

🛌 About the room - super cosy and comfortable, with lots of good storage shelves at the end of the bed and behind the door, as well as space under the bed. It's semi furnished (bed frame, mattress), but it can be agreed for current tenant to leave their own furniture for use (desk, desk chair, clothes rail, bedside table, rug etc).

We’d like the house to feel like a home, so we’re hoping to find friendly people who we can get on well with. You'll find us having dinner and drinks, playing board games, and going climbing, cycling or generally getting outside together pretty often, and would love to find someone who would be keen to join in!

We’re currently a vegan/veggie house and would love to keep it that way! 🌱

🏡 About the house
The house is very quirky and spacious, and is located about 5 mins walk from Wapping Wharf, and 5-10 mins from North street. It's not on a main road so is reasonably quiet!
We've got a shared kitchen, living room, laundry room / toilet, hallway, upstairs bathroom, and a bike storage cubby, so loads of space!
There is permit parking available on our street if you have a car.
We also have a roof terrace which can only be accessed through Aran's room, which is awesome in summer!

💰Rent & bills
We rent from a private landlord who does not live locally, but who is pretty relaxed and helpful!
Bills (water, electricity, council tax band D, WiFi): Around £100 - 120 per person per month (energy bills vary a lot through the seasons though). We split council tax evenly even if students.

📝 About us

Aran - has lived in Bristol on and off for just under 3 years, and like to spend as much time as possible outdoors, climbing, surfing, kitesurfing, cycling, and wild swimming! Big bonus if you’re into those kinda things!!

Maddy - just moved to Bristol a month ago and working as a runner in tv. Loves running, climbing, exploring Bristol and being outdoors!

Elizabeth - Been in Bristol for about a year now! Loves to spend time running, cycling, and training for Ironmans.
