We’re looking for a kind, grounded and easy-going person to join our 3-bedroom home in Totterdown. This is a warm, peaceful house rather than a party one, and we really value clear communication, mutual respect and a caring shared atmosphere.

The house is tucked away in a quiet part of Totterdown, close to Arnos Vale Cemetery and green spaces. It has a shared bathroom, an open-plan kitchen overlooking the garden, and a cosy living/dining room. There’s also a shed in the garden for bike storage. We share the house with Ro, a friendly and affectionate tabby cat.

Rent: £587 per month, including all bills (gas, electricity, water, council tax & broadband)

About us

We’re in our early–mid 30s who enjoy a balance of connection and independence. Between us we’re into music, creativity, meditation, nature, cooking nourishing food and living consciously. One of us is a musician and works from home.

We enjoy sharing occasional meals or chats, while also respecting each other’s space. The home tends to work best when it’s relatively calm during the day.

Who we’re looking for

You might be a good fit if:

You’re working full-time and generally out during the day (limited WFH preferred)

You’re a non-smoker

You value a peaceful, friendly, community-minded home

You’re reliable, considerate, and happy to help keeping shared spaces clean

You communicate openly and respectfully

No couples or pets (aside from Ro)

Our landlord is based in the US - he’s kind, responsive, and easy to contact if anything needs attention.
