Open-Plan Living Space

Cosy double room with lots of natural light, wardrobe space and desk available from mid-March (potentially earlier). The room has a lovely view of our back garden and is one of four bedrooms in our shared apartment on Madingley Road, just 15min. walk from the city centre and much less by bike. The monthly rent of £405 includes garage access and off road parking, while bills typically cost £50-60/month and cover electricity, water, gas and 50Mb broadband. Deposit of £620 required upon arrival.

As you can see from our pictures, we have a large open-plan living room with three double sofas, dining table and television, all looking out onto our leafy back garden, which is a great place to sit and relax during the warm summer months. Our kitchen is well-stocked with oven, electric hobs, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and two refrigerators (to help minimise post-shop Tetris style grocery packing), plus a handy service hatch looking through to the living room so you can watch TV while you chop onions! We have two bathrooms, each with a toilet and shower, and the upstairs bathroom will be newly renovated from the end of January.

You’ll be sharing the apartment with Big James (28, online teacher/reggaeton fan), Little James (27, Engineering PhD student/baord game fan) and Jonny (27, Chemistry Postdoc/Shakira fan). Despite what it may seem, it is not a prerequisite to have a name beginning with ‘J’. We hope to find someone sociable, tidy and easy-going to share our home and we are happy to host viewings for anyone interested :)
