Large double en-suite in quiet and secure property

Hi! We have a large room that will be available from 22nd January 2026 when the current lodger (22F student) moves out to take up a PhD place elsewhere in the UK.

The house is unique. It has lots of space and everyone gets on very well regardless of age and background - enough space to feel like in a studio (without the extra costs) but friendly people of varying backgrounds around creating a warm and supportive place to live.

A previous female (27) occupant describes the house as "a place that really makes you feel at home ... highly recommended".

The ground floor room is en-suite and contains a large desk, reading area, sofa with television and plenty of storage. It also has a patio area. The property itself is gated and off of a private road.

We have two shared living rooms, a large kitchen, double garage (for bikes), fitness room and a utility room with lots of clothes drying space and a dehumidifier. There is a recently landscaped garden which is available to use. The rent is inclusive of all regular bills. The advertised amount is indicative for a 1 year stay and the deposit will be less than the monthly rent.

Rather than post lots of pictures we prefer to meet and chat with potential new lodgers. This way you can learn more about the current household and verify details with current and previous lodgers, and explore any questions or concerns that you may have. This can be particularly helpful if you are not yet in Cambridge or the UK and need some reassurances.
