We have a recently refurbished, large, first floor double room available from the end of November. This unique accommodation is located in an annexe which has its own kitchen and large bathroom shared with one other. The room is accessed via its own stairs which take you up to the first floor living area. A separate bed platform is accessed via a ladder - hopefully the photographs help to illustrate the set up.

The bed platform is cosy and warm and comes with a double bed. It means that the main room can be used and enjoyed as a separate living space with wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and shelving.

I hope the photographs succeed in showing how homely a previous tenant has made this space but I have also included photos of the 'blank canvas'.

We have a very 'happy' house - all housemates are vetted by us and selected with current tenants in mind - we want everyone to get along and be comfortable in what will be their 'home'.

For the sake of transparency, this accommodation is by means of an annexe which has been built on the side of a house which has four further letting rooms. The annexe, however, is completely self-contained although you will share clothes washing facilities with the main house in a laundry room equipped with washing machines and a coin operated tumble dryer.

There is outside space with separate attractive TV studio for when you are wanting some extra space and/or to be sociable.

Secure bike storage

Great location in a quiet residential area close to the river and Newmarket Road, which is at the top of the street offering a regular bus service in to the town centre. Alternatively, within 10 mins by bike you can be in town either along the river or by main road. The new cycle/pedestrian bridge over the River Cam from Ditton Meadows offers a great connection to Cambridge North train station and easy access to the Science Park and St John's Innovation Centre beyond.

Marshalls Aerospace is a 10 minute walk and the A14 is also within quick and easy reach.

Sainsbury's, Tesco, Lidl and Aldi are all close by.

Gyms and a swimming pool are 5 mins away.
