THE HOUSE:
We have a furnished double room available in our house on a quiet street in Cb5, Cambridge.
There is shared furnished living space with amenities like washing machine and tumble dryer available to use. We also have a real functional fire place which is wonderful in winter! There is a pretty garden with a summer house, hammock, and fire pit to enjoy in nicer weather.

The road has plenty of on street parking and there is space for a car on the driveway. We are based near Coldhams Common and Ditton Meadows which are both great if you like the outdoors. The city centre is roughly a 30 minute walk/ 10 minute cycle away. Cambridge North station is the same. Council tax band C.

ABOUT US:
Our names are Marianne & Sam, we are a couple looking for a lodger to live in our home. We are both easy going and fairly chilled to live with and are looking for someone similar to live with us. We have lived in shared houses for years prior to buying our home and have lodgers living since we moved in so are very used to sharing our space with others. Sadly our lovely current lodger is moving on so we need to find a replacement.

We are looking for a clean & tidy housemate who is sociable but will also appreciate their own space. We’d love someone who likes the occasional house pub trip, is happy to have a few drinks with us on a night in and talk over a rubbish film, or to get really into a great tv series with. We are the type of people who will chill watching Netflix in the week on evenings and go to the pub to meet friends at the weekends, sometimes having friends round or to stay. We both have degrees in the arts so a house mate who shares that interest would be an added bonus!

We have two cats called Phantom and Juno, they’re very friendly and will be your new best friends but *obviously* liking cats is a must to live here! Unfortunately we couldn’t have anyone with a cat/dog move in but smaller animals will be considered.
