Single Bed Room + Separate Study Room

As one of our housemate is moving abroad, we are looking for a new housemate to take on his tenancy of a single bedroom now in our shared 4 storey house located at St Matthews Gardens in Cambridge city centre (CB1)

15 minutes to train station
2 minutes to Asda
5 minutes to Grafton

On the ground floor there’s a big living room and guest toilet. On the lower ground floor is a massive dining room and well equipped kitchen. The house is equipped with washing machine with dryer, dishwasher, electric hob. There’s also a lot of storage space. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. One of these bedrooms will be yours.

The top floor consists of the third bedroom for the third housemate and a study room which will be yours.

There’s a small garden opening to the dining room and a locked bike shed at the front of the house where you can keep your bike.

You’ll be sharing the house with 2 professionals (2 males) in their mid-twenties. We’re friendly and enjoy the tidy space. We’re looking for a professional (or post grads) in the twenties, preferably working normal hours, gender doesn’t matter. Pets are not allowed and we are only looking for single occupants. You should be reasonably tidy and happy to contribute toward making the house a nice home for everyone.

Price does not include bills. They will be around £100/£120 per month depending on the season. There’s a deposit required of 1.5 months rent held by the landlord.

The contract will be from January
(start date negotiable) until the end of December after which based on the landlord and the tenants, it may be renewed for a further 12 months.
