A very small room will be available in a beautiful house shared with two friendly housemates.

The room: The room has a single bed with under bed storage, a bedside table, a cupboard on landing. Would suit someone who doesn’t work from home (we have had three doctors living in this room and it has worked well!)

The house: The house includes a beautiful living room with Tv/ (Netflix and virgin media), mega fast wifi, double sofabed/wood burning stove (very cosy in winter). We have a freestanding bath with a shower over it. We also have a dining room looking out onto our south facing garden - bonus in Cambridge! Our landlord used to live here before we did and so it’s in really great condition (lovely wooden floors etc) and kitted out with everything.

The garden: Our garden is pretty special and has been a dreamy sun trap during lockdown. We have apple trees, a cherry tree, a Victoria plum and a big vegetable patch at the end of our garden! We have a lawn mower, tools galore and a big shed to store bikes and extra boxes. Bonus points if you like gardening!

Who we are looking for: a friendly, independent person (preferably a PhD student/ professional) who appreciates where they live and wants to live in a homely, well loved and maintained space. Someone who likes to say hello over breakfast and share a cup of coffee/ watch the odd film, go for a walk or cook together etc. We also want someone who is tidy and values a clean space and will get involved in keeping the house looking lovely.. Particular bonus if you are good at keeping house plants alive!

Where we are:
House is on a quiet street just off mill road. We are five minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Mill road (charity shops, international supermarkets, cafes and bakeries galore), a 10 minute walk to the Train Station and a 20 minute walk into central Cambridge. Grafton Centre and Beehive Centre are all within walking distance.

For the car owners of the world: There is free on street parking outside the house.

Price £550 plus bills (150).
