Double room in central Cambridge

We have one small double room to rent in our gorgeous house in the centre of Cambridge, near Jesus green and St. John’s college. It’s a 4 bed house spread over 3 floors, with 2 shared bathrooms. The room will be available from ~25th June. The house has a dishwasher, washing machine, and a dryer.

About us: we’re a mix of postgraduate students and a postdoc at the university of Cambridge. We live fairly independent lives but we do like to spend time together cooking at home, drawing or painting, going out to shows, playing tennis, going to parties or anything else that’s fun! Recently we have tried buying communal groceries and take it in turns to cook meals for everyone to eat (often at different times) 3-4 times a week. In terms of cleaning we like to keep a fairly tidy and clean place.

What we’re looking for: someone who is up for being our friend and enthusiastically sharing/looking after our home with us. We’d love a housemate who is down to get involved in the variety of artsy/active/social activities we get up to outside of work. We have a minor preference for another student for council tax reasons, but we’re willing to be flexible on that for someone who is the right fit. We are an lgbtq+ household, so it’s important to us to live with lgbtq+ people or allies :)
