Double room in spacious house, lovely location

Room for rent in a spacious fully-furnished house, for long or short-term.

Shared areas are a sitting room with TV, a well equipped kitchen, dining area, two bathrooms (one shower, two toilets) and small outdoor area where I'm trying grow raspberries. A washing machine, separate tumble dryer and dishwasher are provided. Locked indoor cycle storage available.

The location is quiet, away from main roads, and next to Logan's Meadow nature reserve. A large supermarket is in easy walking distance (10 minutes). It's close to the town centre and Cambridge North rail station (20-30 minutes walk).

The bedroom is on the second floor and so would not suit the mobility impaired.

Live-in-landlord (me, hello) is relaxed and sociable, and respecting of privacy. I'm happy for you to use the place for social events, just be respectful and not too frequently.

I'm not strictly vegan, but I don't cook with animal products. There's a couple vintage leather chairs, but apart from that the house is vegan.

Council tax band is C.
