Rooms for post grad students (both male and female students are welcome. Only NON-SMOKERS PLEASE).

There are five single rooms in the bungalow at 17, Scarsdale Close (CB4 1SL), which is a quiet cup-de-sac off Green End Road, close to the Milton Road corner.

It is about 10-15 minutes cycling distance from ARU. There are frequent buses into the city centre and Mill Road (numbers 2 and 1). There is a GP medical practice very close and a Co-op food market on the corner. A large Tesco's supermarket is 5-10 minutes away.

My wife and I live in the house next door and - while respecting the privacy of our tenants - are always on hand to help with practical advice or house maintenance.

The rooms are all the same size (9 sq. m) with bright aspect, attractive curtains and nicely furnished (single bed, large desk, bookshelves, a large wardrobe, etc.) The sitting room/common room is large (18 sq. m) and the kitchen also (16 sq. m). The property has been recently redecorated.

The bungalow has all wooden floors, double glazing, individual locks on doors, gas central heating, broadband internet (wifi) with unlimited download.

There are two shower room/toilets and the kitchen is fully equipped (LG fridge/freezer, JL electric cooking hob, new Bosch electric oven, Siemens washing machine and JL dishwasher. There will be a prepay tumble drier if requested. All crockery and cutlery is provided, as well as cooking pots, kitchen knives and utensils). We can also provide all bedding, sheets, pillowcases, etc., if requested.

There is a reasonable size garden with clothes drying facilities and garden furniture. There are car-parking facilities and plenty of space inside the property for off-road cycle storage.

Outlay is: rent £420 per month - plus bills, estimated at £50 per month spread over the year. A fully refundable deposit of £470 is required at the start of the stay.

There is also an annexe flat for single occupancy (one room studio flat with double bed, own mini kitchen, ensuite shower room/toilet. - 15 sq. m plus 3 sq. m = 18 sq. m.) Whoever takes this flat also has access to the collective facilities in the bungalow (sitting room/common room, kitchen, appliances, etc). Outlay: rent £520 plus bills estimated at £50 per month. A fully refundable deposit of £570 is required. NON SMOKERS ONLY PLEASE.
