Double room in social, friendly house bills inc

A double room in our great shared house in Trumpington is up for rent. The house is a 3 minute walk from the park and ride for buses to the city centre, the train station, and Cambridge biomedical campus. There are 2 supermarkets less than a 10 minute walk away, and it's a 15 minute bike ride to the train station or city centre.

The current housemates have a range of careers including software development, marketing, teaching, and scientists. They have a huge range of interests from running and cycling to climbing, martial arts and board games. We each have our own interests and do our own thing, but also enjoy occasional meals together, board game nights, drinks in the pub or sometimes a parkrun.

The house has 8 bedrooms, 7 doubles - 2 with en suite, 1 small single as a spare room where friends can stay for a night or two when coming to visit, 2 bathrooms,. and a large living area and kitchen with dining space as well as a laundry room. 7 may seem like a lot of people, but the living spaces are sufficiently large so that it doesn't feel overcrowded, and there are 2 ovens and hobs, and loads of fridge/freezer/cupboard space. Most housemates are home during the week, and normally 2-5 on the average weekend.

The room is a good sized double, with the main bathrooms shared between 2/3 people. We are ideally looking for someone who is looking to make friends and get involved with house life as opposed to someone who is just looking for a place to stay.
