Double bedroom in new flat

Hey there. i am a gay PhD student who is currently on a year out who is looking for a lodger to share my flat! Short term is preferred initially but I'm also quite open-minded about this.

It is a two-bedroom flat with a shared living room. The view is absolutely mind-blowing and if you like nature you will love this flat. Your room has a double bed and a desk and a piano as well.

Great connections to: Cambridge town centre, railway station, Addenbrookes hospital (12 mins on a bike or 15 mins and 4/3/2 bus stops respectively)

So it is just me in the flat and I am writing this year so mostly spend my time in my room getting stressed out obvs. But I am also very sociable when I am not stressed, and do have a wine rack, but it is currently empty — make of that what you will haha :3

Hopefully we will get on and be friendly/ friends (isn’t this always preferable?) but like how can you ever know this when you first move in with someone, so I am not sure how helpful it is stating this hahah.

I am kind of disorganised I have to admit but this is just confined to my room thankfully, but in any case, i do LOVE cleaning and I also have a cleaner as well. There is broadband, a washing machine, a dryer (which I try not to use because of the earth etc but do still cheekily use when i have to etc etc), an instant pot, microwave, fridge freezer, air fryer and probs other stuff which i have forgotten

The kitchen is open plan and there is a television in the living room but I rarely hang out there buuuut I do occasionally have a date or two or three we normally chill there? all negotiable tho!

The smoking thing isn't 100% strict, it's just that after starting to occasionally smoke outside in the summer I told myself I'd give up as soon as it got cold, which I did... 😌

Speaking of which, the garden / patio is amazing in the summer. The pics are literally magical

******* Post lockdown update: I now have a little kitty, also have a television and I smoked half a cigarette in Prague the other weekend! First and only (half of) one in a year ffs let me live

Post-post-lockdown update: got rid of the fish, I also don’t have a cat anymore :3
