The bathroom features a large freestanding bath with rainfall shower and high level vintage WC and vintage style sink. We have a second en-suite bathroom in the house - so there are no queues for the bathroom!

There is a comfy lounge with sofas, multi fuel log burner and tv leading to the dining room. The house has gas central heating throughout.

The kitchen has a brand new Stoves double oven gas cooker and washing machine. We have a converted cellar which provides an additional tv room, and laundry area with tumble dryer and additional freezer. The main cellar room also doubles as an additional guest bedroom when needed.

The garden has sun terraces, a garden room, outdoor dining areas, a summer house, raised beds and veg patch.

Because of our location on a path and not a road our home is very peaceful, surrounded by greenery and feels like we live in a village. Great for quiet study and relaxing in a hectic world! But the reality is we are right in the centre of busy Heaton Moor, close to all amenities and transport links.

Our house is in the conservation area just behind The Plough pub, close to all the bars and shops off Heaton Moor Road and only 5 mins stroll from the train station in one direction and the Savoy cinema in the other. Parking is on street and there is a resident’s parking scheme.

My husband Paul and I are friendly live in landlords with our Labrador dog Sky. We've had several lodgers over the last 10 years... One who's come back three times and all who remain very good friends, because ours is a friendly home from home.

We are looking for a a professional person who is considerate of all others, respectful, tidy, affable, dog friendly and easy going. We are looking for a lodger who is not working from home full time, the odd day wfh would be fine.
