Seeking Friendly, Open-Minded Dog Lover

Dear Spare Room Seekers,

I'm Patrick - I live in a beautiful apartment overlooking the canal in Stalybridge, and I'm looking for someone to join me as a lodger.

The room available is the master bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom.

There is also a second bathroom which has a bath tub in it, which are you free to use whenever you like.

The crown jewel of the apartment is the living room overlooking the canal - it's a lovely open space with lots of natural light, and it's great for relaxing in.

The living room connects to the kitchen, which has just had a brand new oven and ceramic hob fitted.

I work as a journalist and I mostly work from home, apart from when I have to go to London (once or twice a month) or when I get sent abroad for conferences.

The main criteria I'm looking for in a flat-mate is that you are a dog lover and would be happy to help me with Jack, my three-year-old Pekingese (as seen in pics 8 and 9).

He is probably the cutest dog you will ever meet. He also loves having company around, and if you are friendly with him, he will adore you very quickly.

The room would suit someone who works in Manchester or someone who works from home.

Stalybridge station is an 8-minute walk away, and the train from Stalybridge to either Piccadilly or Victoria has no stops and takes about 10 minutes.

If you work from home, I have a desk that's currently in the smaller bedroom that I can move into the master bedroom for you.

I'm currently struggling to look after the dog when travelling for work, so a willingness to be around for the dog while I'm not in the house is a must.
