Note: I'm putting this ad for my mum who is 79 and looking for a lodger so you will be contacting me in the first instance.

The room is a small double bedroom with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookshelves and a comfy double bed.

The house has broadband WIFI, all modern appliances and is a five minute walk to major bus routes to Middlesbrough, Durham and Newcastle. Norton village is a 10 minute walk with loads of interesting shops and two supermarkets. Aldi is 10 mins walk too! There's also a lovely green and duck pond 2 minutes away.

The house is clean, very comfortable and a bit quirky. In the attic there is a space with a desk and shelves suitable for work or study.

There's one bathroom with a shower and another with wash basin and toilet.

Ann, my mum, is very social and loves poetry, literature and conversation.

There's two lovely gardens back and front; the back one is a sun trap with a patio to sit out in on nice days.
