The room

This 1st floor double bedroom is fully furnished (double bed, wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedisde cabinets). Very comfortable and a good size. Would be suitable for either single or couple occupancy. Add £40 pcm for double occupancy.

The house: you'll have full use of the bathroom, kitchen, lounge, and dining room. The kitchen and bathroom are quite basic, but things work. Broadband wi-fi included in rent. The garden is small but a good suntrap in summer. Great views over the Caradon hills from the back of the house.

Location: Just off the high street in Callington, it's quite quiet, but within easy reach of shops, buses etc. Buses to Plymouth, Launceston and Liskeard are regular.

Me (Mike, owner): I'm a researcher, writer and fiction editor. Keen on film, comedy, sport, wine and cooking. Sociable, laid-back, pretty quiet and tidy.

I'm currently finishing off a PhD at the University of Exeter. This means that if I'm not working from home I'm out or travelling quite a lot of the time. My wife's currently working in the US, so I'm planning to go out there for large parts of the year.

Brian (current other lodger): quiet, laid-back, friendly chap who works in Callington. Interested in photography, astronomy, gardening.
